ISTA currently has 2 active member-based Committees: the Technical Council and the Certification Council. Both groups fall under the direction of the VP-Testing & Certifiation.

The Technical Council, which is made up of representatives of all ISTA member classes, is responsible for the review and approval of all newly proposed ISTA testing Projects, the process of upgrading Projects to established Procedures, and technical changes to current Procedures.

The Certification Council is responsible for issues that arise pertaining to ISTA’s certification programs (labs, packages and people).
