“Just Right” Tests -
All of the distribution hazards - shock, vibration, compression and atmospheric - may not be present in the different modes of transit. And their intensities vary when present.  The “Just Right” test is one that has only the hazards and test levels that may be present.

We must be able to quantify the elements:
• Environmental hazards
• Packaging performance
• Product fragility
in engineering terms.

“Just Right” Package - calls for a product that is made as rugged as economically possible and then adds a package that is designed with just enough of the right type of materials to protect against the hazards that may be present during distribution.
